Thank you, Novartis US , Marion Brooks, MBA Wanda Sims Debbie McGarity for inviting me to participate as a patient voice at the 5th Annual Day of Reflection. The day-long in-person and virtual Summit was held at Novartis’ East Hanover, New Jersey campus, with esteemed panelists engaging in dialogue in the morning, followed by a cultural experience in advance of the Juneteenth national holiday, with lunch, live music, art and networking. SurviveHER Breast Cancer Awareness Nonprofit hosted a table at the community fair at which employees could learn about the importance of breast self-exams. This year’s theme, “Health Equity: Compassion, Purpose & Advocacy into Action” recognizes 60 years of civil rights advancements and emphasizes holistic healthcare for all. ✊🏽
