Last year alone, the Grammy-winning country music singer-songwriter raised over $30,000 for breast cancer research and patient services, headlining the annual Kiss Breast Cancer Goodbye Concert in 2023. “Tanya Tucker not only captivates audiences with her extraordinary star power and compassion on stage, but she has also used her talents and platform to raise awareness for those affected by breast cancer,” said Paula Schneider, president and CEO of Komen. In recognition of her commitment, Komen awarded Tanya Tucker with the 2024 Promise Award at a concert on Aug. 24 in Nashville.
