  • Double your impact when you donate to Angels on Call online and in the program's app during the month of October! Your gift will be matched up to $10,000 thanks to the generosity of Regina and Chikk Myers! It's the perfect time to make a difference! 🎊 🙂 What is Angels on Call? Angels on Call matches donors, referred to as "Angels," with families who've turned to SVdP in times of housing crisis. How does the app work? After downloading the app, users sign up to become “Angels” and can set their preferences for donation amount and frequency. When a need arises that matches their preferences, "Angels" receive a notification and can instantly choose how much they’d like to give. This month, any donation will be matched up to $10,000! Help us make a difference by downloading the app today and becoming an "Angel": https://lnkd.in/g9-UmnW

  • Last night was a night to remember at the Second Annual Dignity & Delight Fall Festival! Thank you to Jodi and Tom Chermack, along with the Chermack Consulting Group, for helping put together a dinner with an extra boost of entertainment and amusement for our families at our NextPhase Family Dining Room. The event was a special tribute to Tom's parents, Tom and Ann Chermack, who generously served SVdP over the years. Thank you for the best carnival night! Our kiddos had fun in every game station, winning prizes along the way. They also enjoyed a painting station and a cute water tattoo booth! And of course no carnival would be complete without classic treats! Our families enjoyed every bite from corn dogs and pretzels to walking tacos, churros, and the crowd favorite, cotton candy! 🥨 🎪 😇 Thank you to the Chermack family for continuing the family tradition in such a special way, and a big shout-out to all our volunteers and sponsors who made the night so special! CHASSE Building Team, Deutsch Architecture Group, Willmeng Construction, Inc., STG Design, Near-Cal Corp, and GCON Inc. – thanks for the support! 🙂

  • Today, St. Vincent de Paul kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month with a lively celebration luncheon, honoring the contributions of our Hispanic and Latino staff and community in our mission to feed, clothe, house and heal. During the special luncheon, our team came together to enjoy Hispanic and Latino dishes, lively mariachi music, and experience the talents of local Hispanic and Latino vendors showcasing their beautiful jewelry, tasty food, and creativity. It was a special day filled with happiness and vibrant colors. Thank you to the planning team for creating this opportunity to showcase the culture, history and achievements of Hispanic and Latino communities, allowing our entire staff to savor and share in the joy with each other.

  • Meet Carmela Colmerauer, one of the first residents of Rosalie's Place, our new 71-bed workforce housing shelter that opened on Friday! The program is dedicated to individuals who are actively working or seeking employment while striving to find a place to call their home as well. Carmela's story reflects the strengths of so many in our community: Hardworking, resilient, and motivated to rebuild her life. All she needs is the right support system to guide her on this journey. Pairing our transitional housing model with our Workforce Opportunities Program offers residents a unique set of resources. Now Carmela is gaining the tools and knowledge to re-enter the workforce and secure permanent housing. In fact, she has already completed a course to become a leasing agent, putting her one step closer to achieving her goals. Read more about Carmela's journey and how Rosalie's Place is working to help our vulnerable, yet hardworking community members in need of extra support: https://lnkd.in/gfthSYkc

At Spinato’s, our commitment to giving back to the community is at the heart of everything we do. As we mark another milestone in our journey, we're thrilled to launch an initiative that reflects our dedication to making a positive impact. This September, we invite our guests to join us in spreading kindness. For just $5, guests can purchase a Kindness Bag from any Spinato’s location and distribute it to someone in need. Each bag is thoughtfully packed with essentials such as snacks, water, toiletries, first aid supplies, and a cooling towel for those hot days. We’re proud to partner with The Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Phoenix , with 100% of the proceeds from each bag going directly to their mission of helping those in need. Giving back to the community is more than just a responsibility—it’s a chance to make a real difference. When businesses get involved in initiatives like this, they help brighten lives and strengthen our local community. It’s also a wonderful way to spread the spirit of generosity and encourage others to join in. Together, we can build a more caring and connected world. A special thank you to our generous sponsors Greco and Sons, Inc., ONEHOPE Wine, PepsiCo, Affinity Sales Group, Crescent Crown Distributing, LLC, Hensley Beverage Company, and CoxMedia for their contributions that have made these Kindness Bags possible. Together, let’s reinforce the values of compassion and community. Your support not only provides essential items but also helps foster a culture of care and generosity. ⭐ #CommunityCommitment #Kindness #GivingBack #SpinatosPizza #SocialImpact #BusinessWithPurpose
