☕ Coffee = connection ☕
Regardless of where we work in the coffee industry, it can be easy to feel disconnected from how our work contributes to the greater industry and the parts we all play in our communities.
In the day to day, it can feel like our work only has so much impact, because we can only see so far.
But the reality is we have all been shaped by a great cup of coffee, and as coffee professionals, we get the incredible opportunity to shape that experience for people and create real change in our communities.
Just a few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of showing up in person to one of our sponsored community events, down the road from our factory at Candor Coffee.
It is always such a joy participating in a community latte art throwdown, filled with local industry legends leading the charge and beginners bravely trying their hand for the first time.
The local coffee community really came out for this, and we are so proud to play our part! Baristas were representing over a dozen shops from around the Puget Sound area (some of our favorites, including Camber from Bellingham and Beware from Tacoma), as well as some of our local partners like Visions Espresso and Olympia Coffee Roasters.
To everyone who came out to support their amazing fundraiser throwdown, THANK YOU! And of course, a huge thank you to Candor and Berniks for hosting, and for being such a champion of bringing folks together over a beautiful custom MVP Hydra.
