T-LEVEL BUSINESS X T-LEVEL ANIMAL CARE❗️ 👥️In the morning, My fellow t-level business students and I, split up into groups to make business presentations. My group's powerpoint presentation was centred around finance in business. Our presentation consisted of registering a business as a sole trader, with example expenses from a dog walking company. Nathan Kelly Heidi Singer 📝 In the afternoon, we worked through two finance sheets with t-level animal care students calculating total variable costs. 🐍 Shortly after, we visited the animal department where we met the animals. I have always had a fear of reptiles but today I was finally able to conque my fear, by holding a snake and legless lizard. 🌟 It was interesting hearing about the student's future aspirations and current studies. Specifically Zahra, Paige and Maisy, who were very informative in there roles and demonstrated a passion for the animals. Hey network🫶🏾 Today, I had an amazing time at the 2025 T Levels Ambassador Conference at The Oval! It was such a great opportunity to network with a variety of employers, providers, students, and fellow ambassadors. I got to learn about how T-Levels are being implemented across the country and brainstorm creative ways to boost awareness and get more people involved. We also heard from some incredible speakers, including Jo Simovic, Fiona McGonigle CMgr MCMI, Danny Brett and Fernanda Vargas Mendez, who shared inspiring insights on how we can push T-Levels into the spotlight. The best part? They genuinely listened to our feedback, which made the whole experience feel even more impactful. 🌟 One moment that really stuck with me during the day was Fernanda Vargas Mendez speech. She shared her journey and how she became the T-Level Student of the Year for 2024, and it truly resonated with me. As a T-Level student still finding my path, Fernanda Vargas Mendez speech truly inspired me. She reminded us to keep pushing forward, no matter the challenges, because there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. Her words left me motivated and excited for the future! Big thanks to Tristan Pakey-Arthur, Aj Sackey, Hibatollah Jbena-Benjelloun, Nicola Weekly and Ruth Coyle for attending this event with me!!!❤️ #TLEVELCONF25 #TLEVELS #TechnicalEducation #Conference #Ambassador
