Jerry was born and raised in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. A graduate of Shaw University in Raleigh, NC earning a degree in Business Management. Jerry has been part of our Hut Family for 10 years and assisted in the opening of multiple stores in the Triangle Region of NC. He is best known for taking the Mineral Springs – Durham, NC location from the bottom in rankings to the top quartile as well as his most recent assignment as the RGM of the Butner, NC location where he ranked #1 two times and remained in the top ten rankings multiple times. I started out working for the company in King, NC as a server which from there I moved up to a shift lead. I was lucky enough to be under 2 great managers, shout out to Desiree and Chris. I was then offered an opportunity to transfer to Elkin and train to become the new RGM. I want to thank Katie for giving me this chance. I have big plans for my new store. I have to say when I first met Katie, I was scared of her LOL but now she is my go-to for anything. I have been with the company now for 2 years with many more to come. Please help me congratulate JoJo in North Providence on her TLC Certification! JoJo has been working diligently getting her store in tip top shape for this achievement. JoJo herself was certified a little over a year ago and on that day she told me she was going to be the next TLC, and she was not wrong! She is great when it comes to standards and has no issues when it comes to any change in those standards. She is receptive and communicates well with her team. The day we certified her store we certified her first RGMIT! JoJo is going to do amazing as the TLC Leader for the Rhode Island district, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing leaders that come from the small but mighty Rhode Island district. Please help me congratulate Keinon Carvalho on his promotion to Certified RGM of the Rhode Island district. Keinon worked as an acting RGM in his previous franchise, so he had a slew of knowledge coming into his training. Keinon spent the last few months learning the Tasty Way and perfecting his craft, working under JoJo and Sonya. Keinon is eager to start his next journey and his drive is unmatched. He has such a great attitude and is always smiling. I am very excited to see what his next chapter brings.
