About eight years ago, during a strategy meeting with our CEO, Chris Robertson, MSPH, CIH, CSP, he expressed a vision that resonated deeply: "I want to build a legacy company." But what exactly does that entail? A legacy company, by definition, is one that has stood the test of time, boasting a well-established reputation, history, significant market presence, established customer bases, and a track record of innovation and stability. Such companies have weathered economic downturns, adapted to technological changes, and demonstrated resilience in their industries. Our interpretation at TES goes beyond the traditional definition, while still believing in the customary aspects. Part of our above and beyond views is our mindset to mentor the next generation of Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) professionals. As a new practitioner to the ES&H field, TES embarks on a transformative journey with our team members, providing continuous training through coaching, honest feedback, and positive reinforcement. The result? Well-rounded professionals who become valuable assets to any team. Following this period of learning and mentorship, individuals outgrow their TES ES&H Technician/Associate roles.
