Tepa’s leadership team recently visited South Dakota to review the progress of the Oglala Dam project site. This project aims to restore and rehabilitate the Oglala Dam, which was previously deemed unsafe due to unstable soil conditions. These restoration efforts, expected to be completed by 2025, will allow the Oglala Sioux Tribe to utilize the dam for recreation, marking an exciting new enhancement for the community! #WeAreTepaCompanies #TepaConstruction

Regional Safety Manager @ Tepa Companies | Safety Compliance | Build a safety culture, the rest is easy!

Several of our Laborers and Operators here in the Tepa Companies Midwest region recently attended a First Aid, CPR, and AED training class that I put on for just those field folks. We were able to talk specifically about risks and hazards they do see and would be likely to see out in the field, as well as their day-to-day life. This video is a short snippet of the hands on portion where I demonstrated some of our bleeding control methods of serious hypothetical bleeds. Students then performed the task immediately after myself a couple of times to demonstrate proficiency with the tools and methods. Flint Thomas gave me the assist by running the IV bag and stopper for the demonstration. Thanks! I personally much prefer the hands on method of learning and instructing as it tends to keep students engaged more, they are able to practice before it is the real deal, and more information is retained if you turn it into a friendly competition. Anyone who has attended can attest that I try to get my classes outside and hands on as much as possible!
