With Aggieland preparing for game day, check out how College Station got its name! In the early 1900s, the small train depot serving the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas was replaced with a larger structure, allowing countless Aggies to come from all around to receive an education. What began as a conductor’s call has since become the name of the city that so many have passed through—College Station!
