Texas Legends

Some partnerships are just different. The relationships run deep and across many layers. Only a few can say that they were partners before we were named the Texas Legends. I can still remember the original Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Frisco proposal that was originally put together with "NBA D League Frisco" as the logo at the top. Thrilled to announce a multi-year extension of a partnership that has been present since our very first game. Since our very first practice. I think Eli Smith, FACHE said it well. "The Legends are a benchmark in the City of Frisco community, and we are proud to continue our support. At the Legends community comes first! After each home game, win or lose, we host an autograph session with the entire team on the court. Community first, right? Well, we've taken it a step further and used this as an opportunity to fight the Opioid Crisis and team up with DisposeRx, Inc.. Each fan receives a DisposeRx Autograph Book that includes autograph pages and a kit that disposes of leftover/unused medicines, a pivotal part in solving the problem of drug safety.

A Monday afternoon in Texas Legends Land. On MLK Day. Always one of the most memorable games each Legends season. Presented by Thrivent. Benefitting Paul Quinn College. Broadcast on Urban Edge Network, LLC. and KFAA. Standing room crowd. Pregame mentorship session with 80 Paul Quinn College students and Thrivent. Some of the coolest jerseys you will ever see - complete with gold foil. Halftime presentation with PQC students detailing what MLK Day means to them. We even had Michael Sorrell riding a golf cart on the court during a timeout! Just a Monday afternoon in Legends Land. Memorable to say the least.

Before we repped The Salvation Army of North Texas Shield on our jerseys (courtesy of 4imprint), we had the honor of visiting one of their Corp locations downtown to serve lunch to those housed there. Experiencing firsthand the impactful work they’re doing in the community reminded us of the power of coming together to support others. This visit not only inspired our team to a WIN but reinforced our commitment to living out the message of ‘Doing The Most Good,’ both on and off the court.

Ending 2024 on a SLAM DUNK! ⛹️♂️🏀 On December 28, 2025, the Texas Legends, Dallas Mavericks’ National Basketball Association (NBA) G League, hosted Mental Health Night, sponsored by Dr. Tim Martin. We were chosen as the nonprofit partner for the game. Our logo was put on the Texas Legends’ JERSEY!! 🔥🏀 We are incredibly honored to have been chosen for this event. Legends Nation donated over 300 lbs of food to our CoServ Mission of the Month! Thanks to their very generous donation our players Jordan Henderson, Teafale Lenard Jr and Phillip Wheeler were able to fill the shelves at The Salvation Army of North Texas McKinney Corp Food Pantry, which will help provide over 200 meals this holiday season!

Legends Nation did their thing! These very deserving families were nominated by Legends Nation to each receive a $250 Kroger gift card to help cook up a holiday feast!
