We're thrilled to share that the Federal Aviation Administration issued a final rule for powered lift, supporting the future of air travel. The rule paves the way for wide-scale Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) operations including air taxis, cargo delivery and a variety of operations within urban and rural areas. It was a honor to have Kriya Shortt, Textron eAviation President & CEO, present for the today's historic rulemaking! 🌟From Building Aircraft to Building a Home! 🌟 Recently, our employees had the incredible privilege of volunteering for Wichita’s Wichita Habitat for Humanity – a local nonprofit with a vision to ensure everyone has a safe, affordable place to live. Over the course of three days, the team made tremendous progress – from framing the house to completing exterior paint. But more importantly, our team members were filled with pride knowing that their support will enable a homeowner to achieve the stability and self-reliance they need to build a better life for themself and their family. NEWS // Textron eAviation announced today that it will conduct flight testing for its Nexus eVTOL full-scale technology demonstrator aircraft at the Salina Regional Airport - KSLN in collaboration with the Salina Airport Authority. The program will follow the successful conclusion of initial restricted flight tests, which are planned for 2025 at the National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) facility in Wichita.
