TGH Spring Hill Obstetrics Center celebrated NICU Awareness Month and a major milestone — the upcoming reopening of our Level II NICU! The NICU provides a higher level of care to our most fragile patients and our compassionate and experienced team of neonatologists, nurses, and support staff stand ready to support families in their time of need. We’re proud to support our partners at Tampa Electric in their recovery efforts after #HurricaneMilton. Through our TGH Mobile Care To You units, our dedicated teams are providing essential first aid and triage care to linemen working tirelessly at command bases. Many of these workers are making significant sacrifices, staying overnight to restore power to the community. It’s an honor to assist them as they work around the clock to help Tampa Bay recover. In the wake of #HurricaneHelene and #HurricaneMilton, Tampa General Hospital is offering free fuel to our team members as part of our ongoing efforts to support recovery. We’ve opened fueling stations at select locations across the health system to help our team get back on the road and continue providing care to our community. Storm recovery from #HurricaneMilton is underway, and many in our region, including TGH team members, are still recovering from #HurricaneHelene. To support them, we're utilizing the McNichols Team Member Assistance Program — an evolution of our long-standing Team Member Emergency Fund, which has provided millions of dollars in aid since 2009. This program continuously supports our team, and in moments like this, it's more important than ever. With the generous support of the McNichols family, and those that contribute to the fund, we can provide both immediate relief and long-term recovery resources. The McNichols Team Member Assistance Program is already delivering support, but more help is greatly appreciated.
