Our Architerra family is growing! Say "hello" to our newest team member, Amanda Ferrero! Amanda graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a dual master’s degree in Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning. Before moving to Colorado in 2020, Amanda received an Environmental Studies degree from the University of Vermont and worked as a field technician collecting vegetative data and engaging with the public about the threat of invasive species. With a passion for nature-based recreation and connecting people with their surroundings, Amanda enjoys working on projects that promote movement, bring communities together, and help better the public realm. In her spare time, Amanda can be found mountain biking, hiking, skiing, creating new gluten-free recipes and wandering around the city of Golden where she resides with her partner and dog. #architerragroup #landscapearchitecture

We are excited to welcome James St. George-Schreder to the Architerra family! James graduated in 2024 from the University of Minnesota with a master’s degree in landscape architecture. While in college, James worked as a landscape design assistant specializing in planting design with a focus on improving water quality, improving pollinator habitats, and increasing the number of native plants in the Twin Cities metro area. Working with people to help them improve their community and everyday lives is what James appreciates most about landscape design. Outside of work James likes to explore his new home in Colorado, play Dungeons and Dragons, paint, play board games, and camp. #architerragroup #landscapearchitecture

We were excited to share in the celebration for the ribbon cutting at Village Greens Park. Architerra has been honored to work with the City of Greenwood Village over the last 15 years to bring this vision to reality. This final phase of the project adds bouldering, nature play, and a slackline course to the park. Previous phases included a 2.5 mile mountain bike skills course, an 18 hold disc golf course, seating areas, restrooms, and a pond. Thanks to our friends at ID Sculpture for collaborating on the bouldering elements! #landscapearchitecture #outdoorplay #adventurepark

Architerra has been part of the team working to restore degraded portions of Happy Canyon Creek near Ridgegate Parkway. The design focuses on minimizing impact to the natural area, maintaining the character of the channel, and utilizing bioengineering techniques wherever possible. This part of Happy Canyon Creek will be an important open space through the future development around RidgeGate. We are proud to be working with the rest of the project team (Merrick & Company, ERO Resources Corporation, SM&RC Structural Engineers Inc., CEI Constructors, RidgeGate, Mile High Flood District, City of Lone Tree, CO, South Suburban Park and Recreation District). #streamrestoration #landscapearchitecture

Last weekend the Architerra staff and our partners had a wonderful time eating, socializing, taking a tour, and sampling beers at the Blue Moon Brewing Company for our holiday celebration! The food and drinks were great, and the company around the table was even better. Hands down the most interesting and highly favored beer of the night was Bourbon Barrel Berry Bash. #architerragroup #bluemoonbrewco #landscapearchitecture
