We were honored to receive the Breakthrough Award by O.C. Tanner. We received this prestigious award for our ‘Celebrate as One’ program which recognizes individual achievements, improves the overall employee experience and fuels organizational success. This award, one of only three given this year, is the result of hard work by our Human Resources team and every employee who has recognized their fellow employees’ achievements big and small.

AAA volunteers planted 205 trees with The Greening of Detroit and the Arbor Day Foundation, and helped with weeding and watering. These trees will provide numerous benefits, such as improving air quality by acting as natural air purifiers, enhancing health by reducing stress and promoting physical activity, and providing cooling effects through their canopies. Trees also increase biodiversity by supporting wildlife habitats. This was also our first successful zero waste event! We achieved greater than 90% landfill diversion by using items with high recyclability and compostable materials. Thank you to the Greening of Detroit and the Arbor Day Foundation, and to all of the volunteers who joined us!
