Last Friday, we cut the ribbon to officially open The Story of the Land Where We Stand, an interactive mural honoring Menominee land and culture. The project features the voices of students saying words that are represented in the mural in both Menominee and English. The project was made in partnership with the College of Menominee Nation, Kaehkenawapahtaeq Charter School, and the Menominee Culture Commission, and with support from the Community Vision Fund within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region and WISCONSIN ARTS BOARD. Be sure to check out the new exhibit during your next visit!
