"The Relationship Repair Guy" Helping Relationships Thrive
About us
We are a self-pay and donor funded Christian non-profit ministry with the purpose of strengthening human relationships, between us and God and between each other. We do that through individual, couples, and family counseling; relationship skills conferences for single youth and adults, premarital preparation services, PREPARE/ENRICH counseling training workshops for clergy and professional counselors; and Christian Conciliation services of mediation, arbitration, conflict coaching, and parenting coordination/facilitation. Our Vision is: To be active agents of God's grace in relationships. Our Mission is: To equip and empower individuals, couples, and families to have thriving relationships with God and others.

Stress is all about perception and the way you look at things. Each person has a different stress meter because we all perceive stress differently and have different breaking points. Perception can change over time with practice. Give us a call at (936) 703-5029 and let us help you manage your stress.

More than 80% of people that are diagnosed with depression have been diagnosed with another type of anxiety disorder. While anxiety and depression can go hand in hand, they are not to be confused with one another, but can work together simultaneously. Be sure when you are seeking medical help to tell your doctors about any other feelings you may be having because your medication may only be solving one part of the way you are feeling.

Some of us can be easily distracted by wanting a snack or feeling the need to check our phone. These thoughts can be overwhelming when we are trying to focus. Remind yourself of your to do list and set some time for yourself at the end of each day to get that snack or have that phone time. This could help you be more productive throughout your day.

Listen to one another! It may be the 100th time you have discussed something but continue to understand and help each other work through things that may be hard to explain. That continued conversation and effort has a great effect on the longevity of your marriage. It means if you are willing to listen you are willing to be there for one another.
