  • JUST PUBLISHED! We are proud to release the Colorado Roadmap for AI in K-12 Education following months of collaboration by over 100 stakeholders from across the state. AI technology has unprecedented potential to reshape teaching and learning. By integrating AI thoughtfully and responsibly into the classroom, educators can enhance learning experiences, support diverse student needs, and prepare students for the future. This roadmap is a dynamic resource designed to support local school districts in developing their own approaches to AI integration. It emphasizes flexibility and adaptability, acknowledging the rapid pace of technological change and the importance of continuous learning and improvement. Key components include recommendations for reshaping teaching and learning, advancing equitable access, developing policy for transparent and ethical use, and a call to action for statewide organizations. “AI is one of the next great frontiers, and Colorado has always been at the forefront of educational innovation,” said Rebecca Holmes, President and CEO of CEI. “CEI is excited to continue learning with and from school and district leaders in shaping how we leverage AI to improve educational systems, enhance the teaching profession, and ensure Colorado’s young people exit K-12 education boldly taking their next steps toward hopeful, equitable, and prosperous futures regardless of their zip code.” We invite you to read and share the roadmap at https://lnkd.in/expkhr4H. #EdColo Colorado Department of Education
