At CORE, we believe in building more than just structures—we’re building better lives. Recently, our team partnered with PATH VENTURES and CORE Builders to prepare the Pacific Motor Inn for its future residents, many of whom have experienced homelessness. Together, we worked to equip the units with essential items to make each space feel welcoming and comfortable, turning these units into real homes. This effort is part of our shared mission to support vulnerable communities and provide affordable housing solutions that restore dignity and stability. A huge thank you to all the CORE employees and PATH team members for their dedication and hard work in making this possible. Together, we are creating a brighter future—one home at a time. #BuildingBetterCommunities #AffordableHousing #TeamCORE #PacificMotorInn #PATHVentures

**Celebrating Generosity and Empowerment** On his 80th birthday, longtime Rotarian David Neale of the Rotary Club of San Jose made a heartfelt donation to support neurodivergent youth, inspired by his two wonderful grandchildren. This generous gift led to the creation of the Neurodivergent Youth Empowerment Fund Committee. In its inaugural year, the Autism Storytelling Project focused on empowering autistic youth ages 16-25 through artistic expression, emphasizing creative works that reflect their lived experiences. Five talented artists were awarded $5,000 grants, and four more received Honorable Mentions. This past weekend, we celebrated their incredible talents at a special awards ceremony at San Jose State University—a truly glorious event that honored ability, creativity, and authenticity. A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in the Autism Storytelling Project for their leadership and vision in creating this unique and impactful grant fund: DeAnna Pursai, Tricia Creason-Valencia, MFA, Julie Neale, Anna Rudel, David Neale, and Ryan Neale. Together, we are making a meaningful difference! #RotarySanJose #NeurodivergentYouth #ArtisticExpression #AutismStorytellingProject #CommunityImpact #InclusionMatters

The Core Companies is proud to have a long-standing partnership with Capital One, whose support has been instrumental in helping us create high-quality housing across the Bay Area. A standout example of our collaboration is Agrihood, where Capital One's crucial Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) investment enabled the development and preservation of senior affordable and permanent supportive units. These investments are vital in addressing our region's housing needs and making a lasting impact on our communities. We're excited to continue working together with Capital One to build better, more inclusive communities. https://lnkd.in/gWZwVidH #BuildingBetterCommunities #AffordableHousing

**Teamwork and Collaboration in Action at Tamien Station Affordable Project!** At CORE Builders, we believe that construction is all about cooperation and teamwork. Our partnership with VTA on the Tamien Station Affordable project exemplifies this spirit. This development will provide affordable housing complete with amenities like a daycare facility, laundry rooms, and outdoor play areas. This week, we had the pleasure of hosting a field visit with VTA, showcasing our progress and providing a tour of the site. With our manlift operational to efficiently move people and materials to higher levels, and our crane, fire sprinkler, and plumbing subcontractors working diligently, we've made significant strides. We're currently standing walls on the 5th floor! The VTA team enjoyed seeing the unit layouts and the location of the splash pad, and it was wonderful to give our stakeholders an inside look at the construction process. Their positive feedback fuels our drive to continue delivering excellence! #BuildingBetterCommunities #Construction #AffordableHousing #TeamCORE #TamienStation #BuildingTheFuture #VTA

We are thrilled to announce our plans for Gateway Tower, a 220-unit affordable housing development in the heart of San Jose's SoFA district. This project will also feature 3,800 square feet of retail space and serve as the gateway to downtown San Jose. In honoring our city’s heritage, we plan to integrate historic elements of the existing buildings into the design, fostering a seamless blend of old and new in this pedestrian-friendly neighborhood. This exciting project is made possible by the County of Santa Clara and essential Measure A funds. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available. Here’s to adding more housing in the Bay Area! #BuildingBetterCommunities https://lnkd.in/gPMyMk7X

The Core Companies proudly supports the Bay Area Housing Finance Authority’s recent resolution to place a bond measure on the November 5 general election ballot to raise $20 billion for the production and preservation of affordable housing throughout the nine Bay Area counties. As champions of sustainable and inclusive growth, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to call home. The BAHFA initiative aligns perfectly with our mission to build better communities and improve the quality of life for all residents. Key highlights of the BAHFA initiative: - $20 Billion Investment: A significant boost to affordable housing funding. - Regional Collaboration: Unified efforts across Bay Area cities and counties. - Comprehensive Support: Assistance for low- and moderate-income families, seniors, and vulnerable populations. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the housing crisis and build a more equitable future for the Bay Area. We encourage all our partners, stakeholders, and community members to join us in supporting this crucial bond measure on the upcoming ballot. Let's work together to ensure everyone has a place to call home! #BuildingBetterCommunities #AffordableHousing https://lnkd.in/gGNuCRqV
