U.S. employees of TikTok are biting their thumbs, waiting to hear what happens in the Senate to the House Bill that would require the forced sale of the popular app to a U.S. company. The House determined that the Chinese technology giant ByteDance, subject to the Chinese government’s control, poses a critical risk to national security. That's another example of how U.S. security is inextricably linked to cybersecurity. I talked about that, and the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology group's recently released "Strategy for Cyber-Physical Resilience" with Mark Montgomery. He not only worked on the strategy paper, he hosted a panel of world-class cybersecurity experts to discuss the paper and its main points.
