    This weekend, my wife Lauren and I had our weekly date night, and we decided to try out Pizzeria Testa. We’d heard great things and figured it was time to see what all the buzz was about. The service that we received was what I can only describe as The Encompass Experience. From the moment we walked in, we were completely blown away by the customer service and the genuine kindness that radiated from the entire staff. It wasn’t just good service—it was as if we were being welcomed by family. Every interaction felt personal and heartfelt. And the food? Absolutely delicious (seriously, check out the picture). But it wasn’t just the food that left a lasting impression—it was the entire experience. Days later, I’m still thinking and talking about it. At Encompass, we aim to deliver this level of exceptional experience every single day. I believe we do a great job, but being on the receiving end of such incredible hospitality has given me a renewed appreciation for the impact of simple, genuine kindness. So, I ask you and your team: Are you providing an experience that leaves people feeling truly cared for—one that has them enthusiastically spreading the word on your behalf?     We all have a story to tell. I desire that when people recall my story, they see me as a person who thoroughly enjoys helping people become their best selves. My passion for people is only rivaled by my passion for the HR profession. Over the last couple of weeks, I have enjoyed developing multiple teams of HR professionals, teaching, encouraging, and challenging them to new heights. That's why I'm thrilled during this time of year, as hundreds of volunteers put the finishing touches on one of the country's largest gatherings of HR professionals, The HRSouthwest Conference hosted by Dallas HR.
