The Link Group's journey began one night in the summer of 1994. Forget fancy whiteboards – Brad Camrud and Tom Pfeil sketched out their vision for a unique market research firm on a (slightly greasy) cocktail napkin. The napkin met its fate in the trash, but their dream lived on! Fast forward 30 years, and that napkin sketch has blossomed into the powerhouse known as The Link Group. Today, our team of over 100 passionate researchers ranks among the top 25 strategic market research consultancies in the country. Now, after three decades of leadership, Brad and Tom are transitioning into well-deserved retirement. Words can't express our gratitude for their vision, dedication, and the incredible foundation they've built. Their leadership has been instrumental in our success, and we'll forever cherish the memories made along the way. This transition marks an exciting new chapter for our company. We're thrilled to announce that Jim Pullen, Laura Bayzle, and Raja Gupta are stepping up as our new Managing Partners. As familiar faces with a profound understanding of our company and its values, they are perfectly positioned to lead us forward. To our valued client partners, this means a seamless transition with the same dedication to excellence you've come to rely on. To Brad and Tom, thank you for building a company brimming with heart and a winning spirit. We'll miss your leadership and are thrilled to embrace the new chapter ahead!

Like many, Hurricane Helene’s impact in Western North Carolina hit home. Families and businesses were devastated and the mountains as we knew them forever changed. As the damage became clear, it was obvious how many would need supplies. My parents began collecting supplies to be distributed to areas in immediate need, and I thought it would be worth seeing if any co-workers wanted to make a contribution. Their response was nothing short of amazing. I can’t thank The Link Group enough for all of their efforts in collecting various supplies. Over the course of a week, we were able to fill most of a box truck to take supplies to be distributed in Yancey County and Burnsville, NC. A special thank you to Red Rhino Group, LLC for volunteering their truck to us on such short notice. We wouldn’t have been able to move such a massive amount so quickly without it. Seeing the caravans of power trucks, the National Guard, and anything that could haul a trailer full of supplies heading West was so touching. I’m hopeful that these communities will begin to heal, and rebuild. I want to encourage folks to continue contributing when and where they can! #WNCstrong

When I first walked through the doors of The Link Group seventeen years ago, I was immediately struck by its employee-focused culture. Even today, TLG's success is directly attributed to our people and our culture of employee growth and development. We rely deeply on our collective experience, expertise, and relationships to be great at our jobs and to grow our business. I am passionate about investing in our employees and in providing continuous professional development initiatives for our Linkers. In a recent interview with Medium, I talk about why investment in employees is so critical to our success. Why? 🤸♀️ Staying Adaptable and Innovative. Upskilling employees means that your company can more seamlessly change with the world. 💪 Bolstering Company Culture. Continuous Professional Development initiatives is one way to bring your company values to life. 💡Creating a Better Work Product. If an employee loves where they work and are upskilled in their profession, they are more engaged and put more care and attention into the work they produce. 🔁 Increasing Employee Engagement and Retention. If an employee feels like their employer is investing in them, then they will, in turn, invest back into their company. 💫Attracting Top Talent. What motivated, curious, and engaged talent doesn't want to work at a company that offers all of this? Special thanks to Chad Silverstein and Medium for the opportunity to share TLG's story!

There are 8 more days to take our annual summer survey! Let your voice on some of the most controversial debates be heard.
Last year, we tackled the sizzling debate: is a hot dog a sandwich? (Spoiler alert—76% said “NO WAY!”) We had a blast, so we're back with another short survey this summer! This time, we're diving into the upcoming Olympics and some lunch table debates like “is a tennis ball green or yellow?” If you have a couple of minutes, we’d love to hear your thoughts by July 22nd. Join the fun here: https://lnkd.in/eDTU2Fee
