All youth should have access to civic information and opportunities designed for them, but unfortunately that information is challenging for most young people to find. The Youth Civic Hub, a project from the NYC Civic Coalition, is a by-youth, for-youth web portal dedicated to solving that problem! The Hub offers centralized, synthesized, and simplified civic learning opportunities for NYC students. While Spotify may have wrapped, our YVote/Next Generation Politics programs are still going strong through the end of the year! But... we can’t help but dive into some of our end of year stats a bit early. Presenting 🥁 🥁 🥁 YVote Wrapped 2023! 🙌 360 youth participated in our in-depth civics programs, strengthening their advocacy, civil dialogue, critical thinking, and leadership skills ⏱ 1,680 minutes spent at YVote Afternoons of Action, coming together in person to build tools and knowledge needed for making change 📚 1,000,000 pages of background reading (give or take a few!) completed by Civic Fellows to prepare for their Civic Forum guest speakers and deliberations  🗳 4,000+ votes cast in the CEC’s participatory budgeting process thanks to YVoters’ canvassing and outreach 🎤 41 podcast episodes featuring conversations between our fantastic teen hosts and delightful guests aired ✍ 51 blog posts sharing the perspectives and opinions of high school students across the country (and globe!) 📱 610 social media posts made by youth for our Instagram and TikTok channels to combat media misinformation and engage their peers in civic action Want to know more about what we're up to?
