As a #squash player who once got to take a group lesson from all-time squash legend Peter Nicol, MBE, I couldn't be more excited for the newest project from Nicol and his wife Jessica Winstanley, which will soon combine squash, #pickleball, and #padel under one roof in #NewJersey. As discussed in our just released update below, when it opens later this year Nicol New Jersey will offer two state-of-the-art #padelcourts along with four pickleball courts and three squash courts. But that's only the very beginning of what you should know about this groundbreaking public facility which is seeking to make "#countryclub #sports" like squash and padel more accessible to all. Thanks to a few conversations with Federico Ourens of Racket Central, I recently became aware of several new U.S. #padelclubs that hadn't previously been on my radar... And after also recently talking with Jessica Talbert of Park Padel about their two new locations, I realized it's also been too long since we've published a rundown of new padel clubs opening around the country. After a few days off the grid at an East Coast squash tournament, we're back with some exciting West Coast / #BayArea padel news from Park Padel, which is set to open two more #padel clubs in the very near future in #SouthSanFrancisco and #WestSacramento, next to The Barn from Drake's Brewing Company. (This is, of course, in addition to their original, stunning pop-up courts -- from our friends and sponsors at PADEL-LUX and Favaretti Padel -- at the #Embarcadero in the heart of #SanFrancisco). Today we're back with the second installment of our series exploring the top #padelclub operators that are rapidly expanding cross country and starting to establish legitimate U.S. #padel empires in the process. Our initial list included Padel Haus, Ultra Padel Club Miami, Taktika Padel, and 10by20, and to that list today we add: 🎾 Sensa Padel -- which is powered by our friends at MATCHi and now has two locations up and running, one in #Boston at Bosse Sports and one in #Nashville at the sleek new Neuhoff re-development, with plans to open a third location in #Austin in the not-too-distant future. The newly opened Nashville location just recently hosted a Wilson Sporting Goods Co. sponsored coaching certification program and will soon be hosting the No. 8 stop on the redPADEL 2024 Circuit. 🎾 Padel39 -- which recently opened in North Austin... has already hosted a Padelmba / Padelmba USA certification weekend with Marcos Del Pilar - 𝗣𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗟 𝗨𝗦𝗔... and will host a 250-level NOX Sport / United States Padel Association (USPA) tournament later this month. In today's weekly round-up of important U.S. #padel news you may have missed recently: 🎾 Familiar names (including Miami-born padel star Brittany Dubins) took home top trophies at this past weekend's inaugural U.S. Open Padel Championships at Padel Haus in Brooklyn... 🎾 While there's been lots of focus on that 👆 tournament lately, there are over a dozen other padel tournaments, events, and competitions taking place across the U.S. this month alone. This includes tournaments from redPADEL and the United States Padel Association (USPA) at venues including Sensa Padel in #Nashville... the newly opened Padel39 in #Austin... THE PAD in #Sarasota... as well as Ultra Padel Club Miami and The Sports Haus, among many others. In addition to this, clubs like Charlotte Padel Club and Parker Racquet Club outside #Denver will also be hosting more casual community tournaments, sponsored in part by Scott London and GLDN PNT. 🎾 The rumors are apparently true!
