Applications are currently open for TPIF's Fellowship on Military History and Strategy. Featuring a staff ride across WWII battlefields in Europe, six seminars in Washington DC on military strategy and doctrine, and discussions with leading historians, this fellowship seeks to educate early- and mid-career American political and policy professionals about the strategic conduct and moral importance of the conflict. Of the six programs that make up TPIF, the Security and Strategy Seminar is by far the largest with over 80 fellows. It’s also one of the best partnerships we could ask for, working alongside the team at The Alexander Hamilton Society. We’re excited for another year studying each of America’s adversaries and the challenges facing the DoD.

Last week fellows in our Military History and Strategy Fellowship travelled to Europe to study America's involvement in WWII. For the first time in MHS, we incorporated the Italian Campaign into our staff ride. Fellows followed the path of American forces in 1943-45 studying the battles at San Pietro and Monte Cassino, the landings at Anzio and Nettuno, and the liberation of Rome. Afterwards, fellows traveled to Normandy to study Operation Overlord and then on to Munich and Nuremberg to better understand the rise of Nazi Germany, the Holocaust, and the aftermath of the war. TPIF's Antonin Scalia Fellowship is currently accepting applications! The fellowship offers young lawyers an opportunity to study topics ranging from religious liberty, to the regulation of next-generation technologies, to the future of conservative constitutional thought, and more. Facilitated by legal scholar Adam White, seminars will include conversations with leading experts designed to offer fellows a place to learn, debate, and engage cutting edge issues in real time. The Public Interest Fellowship is currently accepting applications for the Richard John Neuhaus Fellowship. This fellowship encompasses monthly dinners and discussions with policy makers and scholars focused on social conservatism in a constitutional democracy. The window to apply closes July 8th.

The Public Interest Fellowship is excited to welcome Renee Lataif to the team as Program Coordinator. Renee comes to us from Benedictine College after completing several internships and fellowships with some of TPIF's wonderful partner organizations.

Applications for The Public Interest Fellowship's Flagship Fellowship are open for one more week. Along with two years of graduate level education, networking, and access to leading scholars and policy makers, fellows also receive a generous stipend for participating in the fellowship. We invite applications from individuals with the following qualifications: Recent college graduates or young professionals with up to five years of relevant work experience. A passionate interest in one or more of the following areas: politics, rule of law and freedom of speech, education reform, domestic and economic policy, foreign policy and national security, the US/Israel relationship, and journalism. Excellent writing and communications skills. Demonstrable leadership potential. An ability to think creatively, work independently, and consistently maintain high levels of discretion and professionalism.
