This is so interesting: it is arguably better to invest in REIT public equities than in private real estate investments that report as part of the core index ODCE. The Sigmund Companies investment thesis is focused on value add essential retail which outperforms even on a risk adjusted basis. #groceryanchored #valueadd
Larry Rothman’s piece for Pensions & Investments comparing the performance of both private real estate and #REIT indexes over the past decade underscores the importance of including REITs in institutional investor portfolios. https://lnkd.in/edSXcwDz John Worth David Sullivan Kurt Walten Abigail McCarthy Edward Pierzak Nicole Funari

#AI continues to be forefront conversation—it’s affecting the way we work, communicate and beyond. While we all learn to navigate this new frontier, we are excited to see applications come together in such creative ways. Is AI affecting your business? If so, how and what are your thoughts on where the future technologies are taking us? #ai #innovation #retailAI #ICSC #thefutureisnow #technology #realestatetech
In honor of ICSC Vegas, I have created THE FIRST AI generated song about Neighborhood Shopping Centers! Honestly, it might be the ONLY song about neighborhood shopping centers. If this doesn’t fire you up, then I don’t know what will. We are looking forward to a great show, please reach out if you would like to schedule a meeting. Here at The Sigmund Companies, we remain a committed buyer of grocery-anchored shopping centers nationwide. #ai #aimusic #retail #shoppingcenters #realestate #realestateinvestment #vegas
