Had an incredible time at the Nexus Sustainability Leaders Summit last week. Thank you to the The Water Council, Marquette University's Sustainability Lab, along with the esteemed panel speakers, for their invaluable contributions in hosting the event. Their efforts are instrumental in advancing water resilience and shaping the future of water stewardship, management, and energy and sustainability outcomes. The two-day summit addressed critical issues in water and energy, focusing on climate resilience, the imperative of energy transition, the integration of artificial intelligence in both sectors, and the importance of sustainable finance. From thought-provoking sessions to connecting with industry leaders, the day was both inspiring and enlightening. We're excited to bring these insights back to The Wasmer Company and look forward to continuing our journey toward more efficient, sustainable water practices with our partners and clients. #WaterStewardship #Sustainability #Innovation #EnergyEfficiency #TheWaterCouncil #MarquetteUniversity

Here's some fun news from our member GRUNDFOS -- they are teaming up with the Houston Astros to raise money for communities worldwide that lack access to clean water. Grundfos will host events across the U.S. called Walk for Water. Locations include Indianapolis, Indiana, Lenexa, Kansas, Allentown, Pennsylvania, Aurora, Illinois and Fresno, California. The combined efforts of employees, friends and family, along with the events, will bring access to more than 4,500 people around the world. Now there's a walk that a pitcher can get behind!

Thrilled to have joined The Water Council and Marquette University at the Nexus Sustainability Leaders Summit, the Midwest's largest gathering dedicated to sustainable business and finance. The event brought together an incredible mix of accomplished leaders, each offering unique perspectives that are reshaping sustainability and driving meaningful impact. Progress needs people - these are the people. Two key takeaways stood out: think big and share broadly. Scaling up our efforts requires building trust to foster greater collaboration, unlock creativity, and mobilize investments. By sharing and educating others about current and future work in sustainability, we can accelerate efforts across water, energy, finance, agriculture, and artificial intelligence. A special shoutout to the indefatigable Charles Fishman for expertly moderating two days of in-depth panels, and kudos to Christopher K. Merker, Ph.D., CFA, Dean Amhaus, and the entire team for executing an inspiring event at the iconic Harley-Davidson Museum, LLC.

MKEStartup.News wrote an illuminating summary of The Water Council's new SBA award and what it means for #Milwaukee's #WaterTechnology cluster. “We can be that door opener to new ideas and new technology," said Karen J. Frost, VP of economic development and innovation. "We’re able to create that full-circle moment for companies, helping them quantify their water risks and then find solutions through our network of innovators."
