We were delighted to host an esteemed group of conservation stakeholders to showcase the incredible biodiversity of Westervelt's working forest. This tour highlighted how through our conservation-minded approach to sustainable forest management, we create and maintain high-quality habitats for pollinator species Together, we share a unified vision of collaborative conservation and managing our working forests for future generations. We appreciate the representatives from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the National Alliance of Forest Owners (NAFO), the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, and Mississippi State University for visiting with us to learn more about our efforts. #WeAreWestervelt

The Alabama Nature Center in Millbrook is a 350-acre site with a NaturePlex and five miles of boardwalks and trails. The Westervelt Company educated 180 High School students during the Natural Resources Expo.

Last week, we welcomed students from The University of Alabama for an Immersion Tour! Students had the opportunity to hear from our leaders, network with interns and early-career professionals, and tour various departments. They also toured our nursery and orchard in Eutaw! We recently hosted a luncheon to commemorate Westervelt Lumber's 50th anniversary. The event was filled with fellowship and nostalgia as we celebrated five remarkable decades of excellence in the lumber industry.
