CHANGE IS AFOOT at The William J. Worthen Foundation. At this juncture, we would like to acknowledge outgoing Board President, Steven Guttmann, for his dedicated #leadership and myriad contributions that have significantly advanced our mission. Steve has been a major player on the forefront of all of the Foundation's initiatives since taking the helm in 2019. Most notably, as Principal Investigator (aka author,/editor, expeditor, cheerleader, you-name-it) for the Building Decarbonization Practice Guide, he assumed ownership of the entire 285-page document to ensure both its accuracy and continuity. He also managed much of the graphic design process and launched a Spanish translation. Steve led us through the pandemic with humor and good spirit and, more recently, led a rewrite of our Bylaws and the creation of a Conflict of Interest Policy. The Foundation has benefited tremendously from his methodical approach to complex issues and his ability to problem solve, present, manage a team and persevere through extraordinary times. The Foundation is immensely grateful for his generosity and to have had the privilege to work with him. Having given his time, talent and resources, with heart, over an above the call of duty, Steve has earned our love and respect. HUGE kudos and thanks to you, Steve. You will be missed!!
