The Hip Hop Museum and our development team at L+M Development Partners LLC, have carefully taken into consideration the feedback of the residents of the housing portion of our shared mixed use development. Those who reside on the premises have expressed a desire to view an art piece from their windows. And we listened. In response we invited THHM's artist in residence Eric Orr, creator of the first Hip Hop comic book and style writer El Souls to design a work of art that reflects the museum and its location.

This artwork will underscore our commitment to addressing the concerns of the Bronx community. As an institution created by and for the people who live, breathe, and carry Hip Hop culture, we take pride in being the "Official Record of Hip Hop." With that title comes a responsibility to honor those who call the Bronx home. #TheHipHopMuseum
