What an incredible milestone for the Dearborn Inn! As Architect and Interior Designer of Record, Kraemer Design Group played a key role in bringing this renovation to life. Through our sister company, Intramode, we also handled FF&E and OS&E procurement to help shape the interiors. The collaboration with Ford Land, Saguez & Dash, Peter Basso Associates, IlluminArt, Resurget Engineering PC, JS2 Designs and Ford Motor Company / CBRE made this project possible. Everyone brought their expertise to the table, and it really shows in the final result. Congratulations to the entire team on reopening this iconic property as a Marriott Hotels Autograph Collection. This transformation not only revives a historic landmark but also creates a timeless destination where travelers, guests, and the Ford community can gather, connect, and experience its renewed legacy.

KDG’s Interior Design Assistant, Zihe Wang, and Architectural Designer, Britta Nguyen, had the opportunity to explore the rich history of St. Augustine, Florida, while attending Schluter Systems Commercial Workshop. The Merchants Building in downtown Detroit just received a major upgrade with the installation of historically authentic replacement windows. Years of natural aging had left the original wood windows in need of comprehensive restoration, making full replacement the most thoughtful path forward. The new windows beautifully preserve the building's historic character while ensuring long-term structural integrity.
