Breaking Ground / It Takes a Village Our team was honored to celebrate the groundbreaking of Kintsugi Village Detroit, a transformative project reimagining the historic St. Vincent Middle School in Corktown. Joined by community members, the project team, and even the school’s former principal and secretary, we commemorated this exciting new chapter for a beloved space. Congratulations to Kintsugi Village on this incredible milestone! Co-founders Hamsa Yaqo and Paul Spiegelman shared their vision for a sanctuary of holistic education, creativity, and personal growth. The renovated campus will feature an early childhood education center, an artist incubator, culinary kitchen, and community event spaces—blending tradition with new opportunities in art, hospitality, and lifelong learning. We’re proud to collaborate with JLL, Sachse Construction, and our dedicated partners to bring Kintsugi Village to life. Working directly with the Marketing Manager and Media Coordinator, the intern will assist with essential daily tasks, create social media content, support proposal development, conduct industry research, and design brand merchandise. They will also gain experience using Adobe Creative Suite, CRM software, and Hootsuite. This opportunity is ideal for a college student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
