    We've all been there. You're on a cold call and before you can even get your pitch out you hear those dreaded words: "not interested" But here's the thing: this objection doesn’t have to be the end of the conversation Let's break it down 🌵 𝙎𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙤 𝟭: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙡 You: “Hey [Prospect] this is Tom from The SD Lab. How've you been?” Prospect: “Not interested” Instead of crumbling or pushing harder try this ⤵️ “I totally get that. Most of the folks I speak to feel the same way initially. Just out of curiosity is it more about timing or do you feel pretty set with your current process?” This acknowledges their objection but also opens the door to understanding their situation better ------------------ 🌵 𝙎𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙤 𝟮: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙄𝙣-𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙊𝙗𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 You: “[Deliver your pitch]… and that’s why I think this could really help your team” Prospect: “Not interested” Here’s where you flip the script with a direct and deeper approach ⤵️ “I hear you. Many leaders I’ve worked with at first didn’t see the immediate need. What changed their minds was realizing the untapped potential in optimizing their outbound strategy. Could we explore for a minute if there’s a similar opportunity in your team’s process?" By acknowledging their position and offering a new perspective you’re inviting them to reconsider without being pushy --------------------- 𝙏𝙞𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 ⤵️ In sales we know objections are inevitable. Handling them directly and offering a new angle can turn a "not interested" into a meaningful conversation Remember this - it’s not about pitching. It’s about connecting and showing genuine curiosity Next time you face "not interested," don’t see it as a roadblock See it as a chance to dig deeper and find a new way to add value 💪
