Derrick Foster Jr. has joined the Tides team, bringing extensive experience in both commercial and residential construction. After college, he spent three years with Power Construction in Chicagoland, initially as a Laborer/Site Safety Coordinator, working on commercial design-build projects. He then transitioned to retail/restaurant TI work with Icon (Now Stratus), where he served as a superintendent for two years, overseeing remodels for CVS, Little Caesars, and McDonald’s across the Southeast. Moving to Texas, Derrick took on a Project Manager role at Hime Partners of America, managing a portfolio of 3500 single-family projects. His responsibilities included acquisition/disposition value add work, turnover, code compliance, and insurance matters. For the past two years, Derrick has been in multifamily construction management with BH Management, overseeing budgeting and management of insurance, Capex, and value-add projects for over 20 properties in the Austin/San Antonio markets.

Hunter Cassidy joins the team as an accomplished senior asset manager with a proven track record of leading diverse portfolios across various asset classes, including multifamily, retail, and student housing. With extensive experience spanning the mid-west, southeast, and central regions of the country, he has successfully managed portfolios exceeding $1.2B+ in value. Hunter has demonstrated expertise in overseeing both in-house and third-party teams while leveraging his strong leadership skills to drive operational excellence and financial performance. Fred Martinez joins Tides Equities as a Construction Manager, bringing over 8 years of experience in the construction and renovation field. He started his career as a maintenance tech completing handyman tasks. Then became one of the first project coordinators for Tricon. He then became a superintendent with the same company completing rehab and turning single-family home projects. His last venture before Tides was as a renovations manager for Avenue One overseeing home Renovations for institutionalized investors. #multifamily #realestate #dreamteam

Richard Bradshaw Sr. joins Tide Equities as a Construction Manager, bringing over 28 years of experience in the construction industry, including managing renovations of properties operated by Progress Residential and American Homes 4Rent. During his tenure with Montro Interiors, Richard was the Lead Supervisor overseeing the complete remodeling of various Marriott properties throughout the United States. Richard's leadership began in 1990 while serving in the United States Navy and continues to develop with each new opportunity he has had. Richard joined the Tides team for a new adventure in multi-family homes, and to enjoy the fast-paced industry. Richard is OSHA-certified and CPR certified. #multifamily #realestate #dreamteam

Introducing our new Assistant Construction Manager for DFW, Curt Zelder who is no stranger to project management and the multifamily industry. He previously owned a commercial power washing company predominantly operating in the multifamily space and city ordinances. Growing up in California, working in his family’s construction business no doubt aided him in his future endeavors. Moving to Texas in 2007 he has rehabbed homes for himself while holding business development positions in several different markets. Introducing our new PM Accountant, Mohammad Hasibur! In his previous role as Staff Accountant at Amerihome Mortgage, he handled Account Receivables workflow for about 1300 loans monthly. He helped AR with checks and ACH/Wire posting. He also managed bank reconciliations, accruals, and prepaid amortization. Prior to that, he worked at Pixelogic Media where he helped the billing team streamline the billing process. His crucial role was to get the billing process done and submit to the clients in the entertainment industry. He has processed more than 10 million in billing invoices monthly and has trained overseas workers during his period at Pixelogic Media. #multifamily #realestate #dreamteam

Introducing our new Construction Operations Manager, Kylie Espinoza, a seasoned professional with extensive experience across various on-site and corporate roles. Her journey began as a floating leasing consultant, advancing through on-site positions and further specializing in roles such as construction administrator and operations specialist. Kylie holds an AIRM Revenue Manager Certification as of 2022 (RealPage); she recently transitioned to Tides from a Compliance and Implementation Manager position. In this role, she assisted in Revenue Management-related requests when needed, and took charge of diverse responsibilities in many company areas. This included conducting Annual Audit Inspections for approximately 30-35 nationwide properties annually, overseeing Quarterly Bonuses for Community Managers and Service Managers, and leading the comprehensive transition of the policy platform encompassing on-site operations, maintenance/construction, and corporate policies.
