No, I’m not closing TNT Bookkeeping Plus, I just really enjoy the fire department! I’m able to get out of my head and focus on something completely different. I love the fire family, adrenaline, and serving my community. This is something I never thought I would do, it wasn’t even a thought in my mind…I’m so glad I was encouraged to try FF!

QuickBooks Online Tip of the Day: When you have multiple credit cards with the same vendor (i.e. Wells Fargo) setup multiple vendor names using the last 4 of the account number in the Vendor Display Name* My Amazing MC 1234 My Amazing Visa 2345 My Amazing MC 1235 and so on... Why do this? This allows you to quickly reference payments made to each credit card. Also, if you accidentally code the payments to the wrong account, you can batch change them right within the vendor's window. P.S. Remember, if you still print checks, remember to use the correct information in the Company Name field: My Amazing Credit Card Company. #QBO #QBOTipOfTheDay #Bookkeeping #QuickBooksOnline #Intuit

While we can take what Mike Nasti says and of course use it in the wonderful field of FIRE 🔥, he says thing that any leader can implement in the workplace! Or perhaps make a slight tweak to his advice and use it in life, in parenting, your kids are watching you too!
Standards Standards come from confidence, and confidence comes from experience. Experience comes from time in the field running calls and time as a firefighter and follower. Without building skills and being able to produce when the time comes, and being reliable, just words don’t work. Your firefighters will know if you’re putting on a facade of confidence, and your inexperience or insecurities will come out. As a company officer, I’ve failed to realize this significant lesson. But as with anything in life and leadership, you can fix this over time. It won’t be easy or fun at times. But those under your command will be watching and will see if you’re putting in the work. It can and will pay off when you overcome your weaknesses and insecurities. This takes time, I’ve learned you won’t be perfect. You will take a few losses or embarrassing moments along the way, but you must always work on progression and improvement.
