One important metric we believe in is the percentage of overrun programs, that is, programs that continue to be run even after a client meets mastery criterion. The longer a client sits at mastery, the more time they are missing out on learning new skills. How do you ensure your BCBAs are contacting their data regularly and moving their clients onto new targets in a timely manner?

It's impossible to discuss "quality" outcomes in the ABA field if we don't have a consensus on what quality truly means. ABA has long been lacking clinical outcome benchmarks that the rest of healthcare can very easily provide in terms of what families can expect of clinical progress over time. Token Data Lab is changing that! 💡 At Token Data Lab, we believe in radical transparency. The only way to know if your organization is providing comparable care to others is for us to begin measuring our outcomes in the same way and SHARING them with each other. That's why Token Data Lab will be publishing ABA's first Clinical Outcomes Transparency Report in early 2024. All of Token's participating clients will have the option to opt in and be included in the report in order to contribute to the ABA field's first clinical outcome benchmarks. Controversial ABA post incoming 🤐 Merely possessing the desire to be a quality provider, does not make it so. Good intentions do NOT equal good care. Quality training, quality staff, and quality policy does. I left the field many years ago partly because I felt that the field as a whole lacked a most of these components, and we were doing a disservice to families as a result. I launched Token Data Lab this year because I believe, perhaps a bit idealistically, that we can change that. But we can't fix what we don't know is broken. Understanding the detailed nuances of how we're successfully- and perhaps less successfully- providing care is the first step to building a stronger, more impactful practice. 📈 I'm very excited to announce Token Data Lab, an outcome analytics solution for ABA providers. Which BCBAs have the most programs overrun passed criterion? Which BCBAs are struggling to treat aggressive behaviors or master targets in the first few months of care?
