A White Paper on the EU #AIAct and the principles of trustworthy AI: We’re delighted to announce our White Paper ‘Navigating European AI Regulation: The EU AI Act and Principles for Trustworthy AI’ in collaboration with our partner KI-Lab from TCW Management Consulting! The EU AI Act came into effect earlier this month, and the time is officially running for organizations using and developing AI systems. They need to prepare now to ensure compliance with this new and major law on AI. According to the recent AI Startup Landscape Analysis 2024 published by appliedAI Institute for Europe gGmbH, 11 out of the 27 most promising AI startups in Germany are based in Bavaria! With over 40%, Bavaria leads all German states in terms of promising AI startups, as assessed by a panel of industry experts and investors. Bavaria also holds the second largest share of AI startups in Germany, only surpassed by Berlin. This year has seen impressive growth with a 35% increase, reaching 687 AI startups and securing the highest funding inflow ever recorded at approximately 1.1 billion Euro. Notably, 95% of the startups focus on B2B. Today is the day: The EU #AIAct has officially taken effect, enforcing significant changes to the way organizations use and develop AI systems in the European Union. ❓ What does the EU AI Act mean for your organization?
