In early 2023, we‘ve founded trail to contribute to a better, safer society where AI is leveraged to its full potential. It’s crazy how much happened since then! The EU AI Act was put into force, we signed the AI Pact, our product evolved greatly and so did we as a company. Therefore, we will introduce us and our mission in the next weeks. Let’s start today with the core question: Why did we start trail? What was our fundamental idea? We were brought together by the goal to make AI development more transparent. We quickly realized that this also makes compliance accessible and eases the lives of both compliance leads and development teams. Now, we are making their work simpler every day with our AI Governance Copilot - a tool that integrates seamlessly into the environment of developers, while providing all necessary information to govern AI systems and to facilitate compliance. 🤝🏻 The Pact after the Act 🤝🏻 We’re happy to announce that trail is one of the first organizations to have committed to the European Commission's #AIPact pledges. The AI Pact is a voluntary initiative to help organizations prepare for the requirements of the upcoming #EU #AIAct. It’s designed to enable early compliance with the AI Act and to foster collaboration between companies, policymakers, and other stakeholders. We are committing to these three core pledges: 📌 Develop and implement an AI governance strategy to promote AI adoption and ensure future readiness for our AI Act #compliance. 📌 Identify and map #AI systems that may be classified as high-risk under the AI Act's provisions. 📌 Enhance AI awareness and #AIliteracy within our organization, ensuring ethical and #responsibleAI development. Beyond that, we’ve also committed to further voluntary pledges. Our commitment to the AI Pact pledges highlights our leadership in responsible AI governance and represents an important first step toward making compliance with the EU AI Act’s key provisions accessible and practical for businesses of all sizes.
