Twenty-six Troon-affiliated golf courses are represented on the “Best 200 Resort Courses” list, led by Kapalua Golf’s Plantation Course on Maui, Hawaii at No. 18; Gamble Sands in Brewster, Wash. at No. 20; Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah at No. 28; Princeville Makai Golf Club on Kauai at No. 33; Giants Ridge (Quarry) in Biwabik, Minn. at No. 35; Yocha Dehe Golf Club in Brooks, Calif. at No. T39; and Tobacco Road in Sanford, North Carolina at No. 58. Twenty-one Troon-affiliated facilities are included in the “Best 200 Residential Courses,” led by Black Desert Resort at No. 29; Mayacama in Santa Rosa, Calif. at No. 30; Pronghorn at Juniper Preserve (Fazio) in Bend, Ore. at No T47; Champion Hills in Hendersonville, North Carolina at No. T53; and Fiddler’s Creek in Naples, Florida t No. T94. Four Troon-affiliated facilities are ranked in “Golfweek’s Best Mexico, Caribbean, Atlantic Islands and Central America” listing including Baha Mar (Royal Blue) in Nassau, Bahamas at No. 23; Bahia Beach Resort & Golf Club in Puerto Rico at No. 36; Reserva Conchal in Guanacaste, Costa Rica at No. 38; and Ocean Club in the Bahamas at No. 39. Troon is pleased to announce it has been selected to manage Cobblestone Creek Country Club in Victor, New York. Troon Privé, the private club operating division of Troon will oversee club operations, agronomy, food & beverage, and membership sales and marketing. Established in 1991, Cobblestone Creek Country Club is Victor’s premier family-friendly private club with numerous sports and lifestyle amenities. The Club’s Michael Hurdzan-designed Scottish links-style 18-hole course spans over 412 acres of hills, meadows, woodlands, creeks, ponds, and wetlands, while taking advantage of its many elevation changes. The 6,818-yard, par-72 course has hosted prestigious events, including the New York State Amateur Championship, the Hurricane Tour and AGJA tournaments. Troon is honored to support Maurice Allen this week at the 2025 Hilton Grand Vacations LPGA Tournament of Champions. Maurice, who started his journey playing golf at Dubsdread in Orlando before becoming the #1 World Long Driver, will be carrying two bags adorning Troon logo throughout the tournament. The first will support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida on Thursday and Friday, and the second that pays homage to trailblazers in golf and honors Black History Month. We’re proud to partner with Maurice in such a meaningful way.

Meet Lisa Wade! Although her official title is Marketing & Membership Director at Huntingcreek Country Club, her role extends beyond that. Lisa assists with accounting, events, administrative duties, and provides on-site tech support. She believes strongly in teamwork and is always ready to step into different roles to ensure the facility achieves their goals together as a team. As part of Troon Wellness Month, we sat down with Lisa to talk about health, fitness and what she does to stay active. "I’ve been managing diabetes since childhood by counting carbs to control my diet, which helps me avoid medication. For fitness, I enjoy activities like playing on golf simulators in winter (I prefer this because I can always find my ball), couples dancing, cardio on hills, pickleball, swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, spearfishing, and deep-sea fishing. I also stay active by walking hilly terrain in the summer. My favorite thing to do at work is go for a walk to take pictures of our beautiful course for our social media. For my mental well-being, I book an annual cruise to explore new beaches. When I’m not at the beach, I love being outdoors, gardening with (7 different kinds) roses, (basil, parsley oregano, chives, pineapple, cucumbers, blackberries, tomatoes, and a banana tree) herbs, (5 different kinds) lilies, (9 different kinds) orchids, mangroves, and a bonsai tree." Lisa is a true asset to her facility and Troon, as she also helps the communications committee for our #attentivelyinclusive efforts as a company. She helps with research, finding stories for us to share about our amazing associates or facilities, and creates Reels for us to use on social platforms to stay up to date with the latest in social media trends. Very exciting times for Al Hamra Golf Club in Ras Al Khaimah! Since joining the prestigious DP World Tour in 2022, the club has hosted the inaugural Ras Al Khaimah Championship presented by Phoenix Capital, quickly becoming a standout event on the Tour. Originally part of the "Middle East Swing," the Championship gained even more recognition after the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters was postponed, leading to the addition of the $2 million Ras Al Khaimah Classic.
