Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month was first declared by President Ronald Reagan on October 15, 1988. We know this month is not for the women who have been through it — because we never forget. We don’t need an awareness month to remember. The purpose is to open the conversation and create awareness for others. 💙

Doesn’t this sound like an awful invitation? Unfortunately, every woman is invited, but no one knows when the invitation will arrive. 🥺 For some, it can be as early as their mid-30s, and others won’t get the announcement until their late 40s or early 50s. When the invitation to #perimenopause does arrive, we’re here for you at true. Our model of care was designed by women, for women – in every stage of life! #menopause #midlife

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and we need to talk about this issue that affects millions of women, especially those in midlife. 81% of women aged 35 to 49 who experience intimate partner violence have been victimized by the same offender, often enduring years of abuse. The impact of domestic violence extends beyond the physical—it deeply affects mental health and well-being. As we advocate for women’s health in midlife, it’s essential to recognize the role that domestic violence can play in a woman’s overall wellness. If you or someone you know is affected by intimate partner violence, know that support is available. For help, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233).
