True North 400 - A Catalyst for Community Improvement.
About us
True North 400, formerly the North Fulton Community Improvement District (NFCID), is a self-taxing district that was formed in 2003 by a group of business leaders committed to maintaining and enhancing the North Fulton community. With the goal of investing in a more vibrant and sustainable North Fulton, the organization advances infrastructure projects that enhance the livability, walkability and drivability of the entire community. The True North 400 district spans from Mansell Road north to McGinnis Ferry Road, serving as a catalyst for transportation planning, investment and improvement. Commercial property owners within the district’s boundaries pay a voluntary tax, which funds True North 400’s efforts. The organization’s mission is to work continuously to improve the economic viability of its district. This includes the development of efficient transportation services, with an emphasis on access, mobility, diversification and modernization. True North 400 partners with the three cities that fall within its boundaries – Alpharetta, Milton and Roswell – to accelerate projects that improve the community of North Fulton. True North 400 regularly solicits input from its members for new projects and any member can submit requests to the organization for consideration.

Alpharetta has become a more walkable area and now it is time to make it more "sittable!" Currently, there are almost 40 Adirondack chairs around the downtown Town Green and other areas donated by Rotary Club of Alpharetta but the city wants to eventually get it to 50 chairs. The Alpharetta Recreation, Parks & Culture Department hopes to seek more partners to improve the city. Are you interested in helping?

Roswell recently reinstated several motorcycle parking spots for veterans along Canton Street, following community feedback regarding their earlier removal. Many veterans have expressed their appreciation for this gesture. Roswell native and Georgia Military Hall of Fame honoree Roger Wise stated, "This recognition and support are so appreciated by the veteran community. Thank you, Mayor [Kurt] Wilson and Sen. Albers, for your continued support.”
