Have you heard the City of Roswell has officially selected the site for its new Public Safety Headquarters? Located at 1080 Holcomb Bridge Road, this location will combine the Police and Fire Departments under one roof. The nonprofit organization, which started in 2015, is relocating to a new, custom-designed location that will double the available office space for hotdesking, educational programming, mentorship, pitch coaching, and networking. Tech Alpharetta is staying in the city but moving to 925 North Point Parkway. “We’re excited to relocate this fall to our new and modern startup incubator, which will enable us to better serve the robust tech startup community here in Alpharetta and the north metro corridor,” says Karen Cashion, President and CEO of Tech Alpharetta. Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) announced a $4.6B plan to add toll lanes from North Springs MARTA to McFarland Parkway, designed to handle 70,000+ more vehicles daily by 2046. SR400 Peach Partners, a consortium of several road-building and engineering companies, won the bid for this project. GDOT is partnering with MARTA to look at including Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) along the corridor as well. The True North 400 team is thrilled to see this vital project advancing.
