Introducing: Enhanced support for Bitcoin! Previously, we provided out-of-the-box support for #Bitcoin through cryptographic curves. Now, you can automatically derive multiple types of Bitcoin addresses to generate private/public key pairs with Turnkey. Bitcoin's address system has evolved since its inception in 2013. Like most addresses, a private key is put through elliptic curve multiplication to generate a public key. The public keys are hashed to generate an address, which is then used for building transactions. Bitcoin's address evolution means multiple types of addresses exist, including: - Legacy (P2PKH, P2SH) - Segwit (P2WPKH, P2WSH) - Taproot w/ Schnorr signing (P2TR) Turnkey now has support for deriving and generating private/public key pairs for all Bitcoin addresses! OAuth is now live on Turnkey! https://lnkd.in/drTbaD2U Now, customers and their end users can sign in with popular providers such as Google, Apple, and Facebook. Users can log into a crypto app using reliable and familiar login methods and, once logged in, securely authenticate real onchain transactions by simply using the app. This enables dramatically better wallet UX while being powered by crypto under the hood. Aside from social login, we’ve also built OAuth with security and flexibility in mind. As part of our roadmap to build verifiable developer tools in crypto, we’ve taken steps to secure OAuth with our in-enclave TLS fetcher. This is a first-of-its-kind innovation that allows OIDC tokens to be verified against the right set of public keys and ensures their legitimacy—all from within secure enclaves.
