On #WorldMentalHealthDay, we’re reminding everyone that mental health is just as important as physical health. It's okay if you're not always feeling your best—seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Often, the first step can be the hardest, but starting by speaking with your primary care provider is a great place to begin. Whether it's discussing mental health with your doctor, asking a family member to help make a call to a psychiatrist, or seeking peer support, help is always available. At UF Health, we offer a variety of resources to support mental well-being: - If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available 24/7. Call or text 988 to connect with a trained counselor. - Our UF Health Psychiatric Hospital offers comprehensive inpatient care: https://lnkd.in/e8aYvtUW - For addiction recovery services, the UF Health Florida Recovery Center is here to support you: https://lnkd.in/gMDeww7d - If you need a psychiatrist, we are here to help: https://lnkd.in/ee_aFuxc - You can also start by talking with one of our primary care doctors: https://lnkd.in/eN6zA5jT - If you're a UF Health employee, don't forget to explore your mental health benefits: https://eap.ufl.edu/ - Shands employees have wellness resources available through their EAP: https://lnkd.in/gs2Yfa2y Taking care of your mental health is crucial for your overall well-being, both personally and professionally. Let’s continue to support each other in prioritizing mental wellness. #MentalHealthMatters #UFHealth #MentalWellness #HealthCare #EmployeeWellness #WorldMentalHealthDay
