Yesterday was a day full of learning and networking as our Enterprise Business Development Coordinator, Niya Ruseva, attended the annual meeting of the UK Registrars Group (UKRG) at the beautiful 📍 V&A South Kensington. The event was a hub of insightful discussions and presentations, from a Q&A session with the Government Indemnity and Security teams at ACE, to insights from Registrar Voices on various projects, ranging from exhibitions to audits to acquisitions – it was truly an informative and eye-opening event. As a company, we understand the importance of risk management when it comes to the transit and management of large collections. The discussions on implementing sustainability initiatives specific to collections management and fine art transit were particularly thought-provoking - 👀 these are crucial factors that we, as professionals in the art world, must always keep in mind. ✨ Needless to say, we can't wait to attend the next event organized by UKRG. We had a fantastic time attending yesterday's UK Registrars Group AGM at the Victoria and Albert Museum.   The theme, Registrar Voices, brought together insightful speakers who shared their experiences on travelling exhibitions, collection archiving, auditing, and the acquisitions programme at National Museums Scotland. A highlight was Jenna Shaw's talk, where she delved into her research on sustainability initiatives in collection management and fine art transport.   A big thank you to UKRG for organising the event. We’re looking forward to the next one.
