Recently, Early Careers representatives from Ultra Maritime were able to visit the BAE Systems shipyard in Barrow, England. During the trip, the group had the unique opportunity to observe the complex process of manufacturing a 17,500-ton submarine for the Royal Navy. This included viewing sections of HMS Dreadnought, the first of the new Dreadnought-class submarines. The team also stopped at the Submarine Academy for Skills and Knowledge, where the group met with apprentices undergoing their trade training, offering valuable insights into the next generation of skilled professionals. If you are a young career professional interested in growth and development, be sure to check out our open opportunities at umaritime.com/careers. #ultramaritime #EarlyCareers #ProfessionalDevelopment

We had an incredible day hosting the crew from the USS Constitution, the world's oldest commissioned naval warship still sailing. Known as Old Ironside, she was one of six original frigates. Today, her crew of 75 promote the Navy's mission through education, historical demonstrations and public events as part of the Naval History and Heritage Command. Our facility tour offered an in-depth look into our portfolio, reflecting the same perseverance and commitment that has kept Old Ironside afloat since 1797. Thank you to the crew for a great day of convergence between U.S. naval history and modern-day innovation! #ultramaritime #USSConstitution #navalhistory

Last week, we were delighted to welcome crew members from the HMCS Ville de Quebec at our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, site. A chance to showcase our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility responsible for delivering upgraded towed arrays for the Halifax Class frigates via the Underwater Warfare Suite Upgrade (UWSU) project. Our Dartmouth location is the heart of towed array proficiency at Ultra Maritime, undertaking all facets of research, development, design, production and repair. Huge thanks to the crew for taking the time to explore our mission-critical sonar systems. #ultramaritime #RoyalCanadianNavy #towedarrays #sonarsystems
