Through each storm, we don’t just respond to crises, we harness them as opportunities to bring people together, uniting teams, families and entire communities. In the wake of natural disasters like Hurricane Helene, there is belief in the power of human connection to heal and rebuild. Dr. Wesley Burks, Dean of the UNC School of Medicine, Vice Chancellor for Medical Affairs and CEO of UNC Health shared this message of support, hope and resilience to teammates across UNC Health.
