The UNFI Foundation is strengthening its support for partners and programs that are improving access to quality food and protecting the planet we share. To support this goal, the Foundation has awarded $1.5 million in grants to 61 nonprofit organizations that align with one or more of its new priorities: climate smart agriculture, food access innovations, food equity, and local food economies. We are inspired by each organization’s commitment to building a better food system and look forward to supporting their continued progress as they drive systemic change throughout the food system.
