🗒 Did you know Washington state ranks 34th nationally in math since pre-pandemic? Eighth graders are among the most impacted, with the average test scores being 12 points lower than they were in 2019. 📚 Last year, the average score among low-income eighth graders were 36 points lower than their peers. Additionally, Latino students had an average score of 35 points lower than white students. 🏫 At United Way, we believe education is a gateway out of poverty, and together we can work to break down barriers so our youth can get the resources they need to excel. #unitedistheway #education #math
