I had the honor of attending a check passing ceremony this morning at the American Legion in Canisteo. They donated a whopping $23k to United Way of the Southern Tier’s Flood Relief Fund. I continued my travels through western Steuben and delivered toiletries to area schools and youth programs from our toiletries drive. What a beautiful way to spend my day!

First Heritage Federal Credit Union defended their Trike Race title Friday morning, besting the competition with a time of 2 minutes 42 seconds! Second place went to host Community Bank, N.A. ; third place was awarded to Corning Credit Union (after some judges’ consultation); fourth place was awarded to ServU Federal Credit Union, and in fifth place (with a great effort!) was Chemung Canal Trust Company. First Heritage Federal Credit Union will defend their 2023 Trike Race title at 7:45 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, in the parking lot of Community Bank, N.A., 300 W. Water St. in Elmira. Come watch as teams from Community Bank, Chemung Canal Trust Company, Corning Credit Union and ServU Federal Credit Union compete in this relay race fundraiser for United Way of the Southern Tier.
