This past Saturday, we collaborated with Grow Garden Grow for an impactful School Garden 101 professional development session at Sudie L. Williams TAG Academy. 🌿🌱 Kim Aman from Grow Garden Grow provided educators from our #U2LSchools with tools and strategies to create meaningful, hands-on learning experiences with their campus gardens. We're excited to see how these gardens will continue to grow and inspire students across our community! 🌻✨ #UnitedToLearn #GrowGardenGrow #HandsOnLearning #GreenSpaces #dallasisd #ProfessionalDevelopment

🎥 In our latest reel, we interviewed three of our incredible SEL Fellows to hear what they hope to gain from the fellowship and why Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is vital for their campuses. 🌟 From fostering stronger student relationships to creating more supportive learning environments, these leaders are committed to making a lasting impact through SEL. Special shoutout to Mr. Villegas from Truett, Ms. Ortega from Soto, and Ms. Caraway-Riley from DeGolyer Elementary for sharing their thoughtful insights! 💙✨ Check out their inspiring perspectives and learn more about the importance of SEL in education. #UnitedToLearn #EducationForAll #LeadershipInEducation #SocialEmotionalLearning #dallasisd #u2lschools

We’re thrilled to announce our new New Teacher Support Grants! 🌟 These $500 grants provide crucial support to first-year teachers, allowing them to purchase essential classroom supplies and materials. Last week, we had the joy of surprising grantees at Chapel Hill Prep. with baskets full of school supplies—generously donated by WFAA —along with $500 for each teacher to further enhance the library and support students with special needs. A huge thank you to Erica Keefer Delaney and Marisa Strauser from Fossil Group, Inc. who joined us for the surprise and continues to be an incredible corporate partner in this journey. Through Fossil’s ongoing commitment, they help make these special moments possible, brightening the day of our educators and ensuring they have the tools to succeed! Together, we are creating lasting change and making sure our educators feel supported every step of the way. #EducatorSupport #CorporatePartnership #UnitedToLearn #dallasisd #u2lschools #CommunityImpact #u2lpartner
